Desert Island, Faro, Portugal

This island was in Faro, about 3 hours away from the capital. We took a bus there, and from there we took a waterboat to the island. It had one restaurant that worked merely by solar power, and otherwise almost no people at all. Definitely something unique to experience. We spent the whole day there, because Faro itself was quite touristy and lame (this is just my opinion, of course). If you enjoy spending time with other tourists and hanging by your hotel, then Faro is for you, otherwise I would not really recommend spending your whole week there.
